Dr. Michael Stosich is the director of orthodontics at the University of Chicago medical center and is the cleft lip and palate team orthodontist and craniofacial orthodontist. His collaboration with specialists from craniofacial surgery, speech, nursing, ENT, neurosurgery, genetics, social work and psychology form the foundation for total patient care centered at the University of Chicago. Many patients are treated from birth to the late teens. Additionally, Dr. Stosich collaborates with world class plastic surgeons on complex orthognathic surgical procedures for our adult patients.   • 3D Robotic based surgical and craniofacial orthodontic and surgical planning.
  • Orthodontic management of patients with cleft lip and palate or craniofacial anomalies from child through adult dentition.

    of splints in the operating room.

Born with cleft lip and palate at two weeks old these patients see Dr. Stosich for Nasoalveolar Molding (NAM) where the palate, lip, and nose is repaired.
