Dr. SpectorWILMETTE, IL-Not many orthodontists can say they have the education and training of iDentity Orthodontics’ Dr. Sara Spector. But even with her sterling professional background, Dr. Spector pushes to make a positive impact in the community as well.

Growing up in Chicago, he always wanted to serve others. Dr. Spector quickly realized that orthodontics would pave the way for her career. He spent seven years at elite research universities where he experimented how teeth could move more efficiently through bone.

StosichGRAYSLAKE, Ill.– Dr. Sara Spector has become a regular on the cover of a leading orthodontic publication. Elected to detail the biology of tooth movement in Orthodontic Practice US, Dr. Spector wrapped up her three part series in the March/April 2014 issue.

“Education is a powerful thing. I enjoy teaching other professionals,” says Grayslake area orthodontist Dr. Spector, who is recognized as an expert in the biology of tooth movement. “A better understanding of how teeth move through the bone will enhance a patient’s treatment experience and results.”

GRAYSLAKE, Round Lake, GURNEE AND Waukegan, ILLINOIS – Traditional braces can be a long-term commitment for some. Treatments can last an average of two years.

That long time span could be keeping adults and teenagers from getting orthodontic treatment. Many don’t have two years to hand over, and different bumps in the road could prolong treatment longer.
