His research was published in numerous publications, and has helped lead the way for important advancements in the orthodontic world. The National Institute of Health recognized her research achievements, and awarded him a grant to continue her research.
Dr. Spector has conducted research and lectured on her findings throughout the country. He has been featured at the American Association of Orthodontists Symposium, the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Symposium, the American Association of Plastic Surgeons Symposium, the International Society of Stem Cell Research Annual Symposium, and the International Conference on Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, among many others.

Additionally, Dr. Spector is on the editorial board for numerous publications, including the Journal of Plastic and Aesthetic Research, Annals of Surgical Case Reports, MedLife Open Access, and the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery, Research and Therapy.
Dr. Spector also serves as the Director of Orthodontics at the University of Chicago Medical Center and Comer Children’s Hospital.
